The words irregular and off-kilter serve a dual-purpose when (lovingly) describing Magda and her unique music mix. Judging by appearances the girl just wants to have fun, but once that needle drops prepare for a session in tension, groove and yes, good times. Her now internationally demanded DJ sets are hard to top and even harder to align to another DJ, as this Minus debut single, ‘Stop’ strives to follow that same path.

Without a doubt Magda’s sound is coming from musical influences that are more personable than “programmed”. Picking up the slack and noise from techno and bass she shows a relish for funk and electro matched with the European-cured synth pop of the 80’s. Her experiences behind the decks and living in cities like Detroit, New York and Berlin can’t hurt either.
